Netblinks LLC (“Netblinks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Policy applies to netblinks.com and other Netblinks webpages that link to it (the “Website”). It is written for the current public Website and demonstration-request process.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the public Website and information submitted through the Website.

It does not govern personal information that Netblinks processes through its analytics platform on behalf of a customer. That processing is governed by the applicable customer agreement, data processing addendum, and the customer’s own privacy notices. If your organization provides you access to the Netblinks platform, direct questions about that organization’s data practices to the organization.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you request a demonstration or contact us, we may collect:

  • Your full name, work email address, and contact telephone number.
  • Your selected country calling code, company name, and industry.
  • The business questions or requirements you describe.
  • Other information you choose to include in your message or later correspondence.

Please do not submit passwords, database credentials, health information, financial account details, government identifiers, or other sensitive or confidential information through the public demonstration-request form.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Website, Netblinks and the providers supporting it may automatically receive limited technical information, such as:

  • Internet Protocol address.
  • Browser, device, operating-system, and language information.
  • Referring page, requested page, date and time of access, and similar server or security logs.
  • A country code inferred from your network connection to suggest a telephone calling code.

The country suggestion is approximate. It does not request access to your device’s GPS or precise location, and you may change the suggested country before submitting the form.

Cookies and similar technologies

As currently configured, the Website does not intentionally use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral advertising pixels, audience analytics cookies, or personalization cookies. Essential network and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the Website.

If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this Policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law before using them.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • Receive, assess, and respond to demonstration requests and other enquiries.
  • Schedule and tailor a demonstration to your organization and stated interests.
  • Communicate with you about your request and a potential business relationship.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the Website.
  • Detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Understand general Website performance using limited operational information.
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and comply with law.
  • Complete a corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

We do not use a demonstration request to enroll you automatically in unrelated promotional email campaigns. If we introduce marketing communications, we will provide any consent mechanism required by law and a clear way to unsubscribe.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Steps requested before a contract or performance of a contract: to respond, arrange a demonstration, and discuss services.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate and secure the Website, prevent misuse, manage business enquiries, and develop our business where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: where we specifically ask for and receive it. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
  • Legal obligations and legal claims: to comply with applicable law and protect our rights or the rights of others.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Formspree, which receives and delivers submissions from our demonstration-request form.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts, delivers, and protects the Website and provides the approximate country code used for the telephone-field suggestion.
  • Content-delivery and software providers used to load Website components, currently including jsDelivr and unpkg.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and service providers that need information to perform services for us and are subject to appropriate obligations.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A purchaser, successor, or participant in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it for targeted advertising as those terms are defined under applicable US state privacy laws.

6. International data transfers

Netblinks is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.

Where required, we use recognized transfer safeguards, such as contractual protections, or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism. Contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your information.

7. Retention

We retain demonstration requests and related business correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Unless a longer period is needed for an active customer relationship, legal obligation, dispute, security investigation, or legal claim, we ordinarily delete or anonymize demonstration-request information within 24 months after our last substantive interaction with you.

Technical and security logs are retained for the shortest period reasonably necessary for operation, fraud prevention, and security, subject to our providers’ retention practices. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it using reasonable measures.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to and a copy of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate information or request deletion.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive certain information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.
  • Appeal our refusal of a privacy request.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local privacy or data-protection authority.

Because we do not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising, no opt-out is presently necessary for those activities. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To exercise a right, email support@netblinks.com. If you have difficulty using that address, contact contactus@netblinks.com. Describe your request and where you live. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any applicable appeal process.

10. Automated decision-making

The Website does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects about visitors. The automatic country-code suggestion only helps preselect a telephone calling code and can be changed by the visitor.

11. Children

The Website is intended for business users and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

12. Third-party links

The Website may link to third-party websites, including social-media services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Policy. We encourage you to review those notices before providing information.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our Website, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised Policy with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required by law. We will not apply materially different practices retroactively where doing so would be unlawful.
